Out of Bounds
All areas outside the boundary fence including bird sanctuaries or into the Vaal and Klip Rivers. The paved road and to it's left on the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, the car park and club house. 10th fairway while playing the 9 th hole.
GUR
All roads and tractor wheel tracks. A ball lying within two club lengths of any water hydrant, valve, tap, pipe or manhole cover on the course may be lifted and dropped, not nearer the hole, without penalty. A ball coming to rest on the stones between the tee and fairway on the 3rd, 10th and 11th holes, and left-hand side of the 8th, may be picked up and dropped away, not nearer the hole, without penalty. Free drop from all trees and bushes under two metres in height.
Water Hazards
The stream running from the fence to the right of the 9th tee into the Vaal River and also constructed water hazards on the 5th, 7th, 12th, 13th and 17th.
Divots & Pitch Marks
It is the duty of every golfer to see that the turf cut in the act of playing is replaced, and pitch marks on greens repaired.
By-Laws Local Rules
No free drop from fences. Penalty drop of 1 stroke or play the ball as it lies. Balls or clubs must not be purchased from caddies. A caddie is only permitted to be engaged through the caddie master. Placing 30cm on fairway in play only.
Dress Code
Appropriate Golfing Attire
- Recognised golf shirts
- Golf slacks
- Tailored shorts with belt (allowed in the Clubhouse until 18h00 only)
- Short socks (white or light beige)
- Golf shoes with soft spikes
Not acceptable in the bar after 18h30
- T-shirts
- Sweat pants
- Tennis shorts or other athletic shorts
- No flip flops
- No bare feet
- No headgear
- No boardshorts
Golf Course Etiquette
- Please repair all divots and pitch marks (Sand bags compulsory)
- Rake all bunkers correctly and replace rakes in bunkers
- Speed up play to make everyones' game more enjoyable
- Strictly two persons only per golf cart
- Keep golf carts off all tee boxes, greens and surrounds
Terms and Conditions
Any person not dressed appropriately will not be allowed access to the Golf Course or Clubhouse.
